Hi, Everyone and welcome to my site!

My name is Tony Perona, and I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember, way back to tortured poetry composed as a teenager, to some musicals I co-wrote in graduate school, to advertising and public relations materials I wrote as a p.r. guy, and columns and stories I’ve written for newspapers and magazines. I became a published mystery author in December, 2002, when Five Star published my first novel, Second Advent, the first in the Nick Bertetto mystery series. 12/15/11  Just added a recipe for galettes, an “heirloom” cookie we make at Christmas time. It came from my grandfather’s family (on my mother’s side) who immigrated to the US from Belgium. You can find it in the recipe blog by clicking here.
