A visit to Greensburg Library

Okay, I”m behind a little here in getting posts up, but I wanted to say that I had a delightful time visiting the Greensburg, Indiana library earlier in the month to award them a check for $250 to buy mystery books for their library and give them signed, first edition hardcover copies of each of my first three novels.  Here’s a photo of Joy McQueen, who won the contest for herself and for her library, accepting the check.

Joy accepts check

In winning the contest, Joy also won a character named after her in my next published novel.  Since I don’t have a contract at the moment, Joy and I discussed possibilities among the three novels I have in progress.  We’re going to keep in touch as the year goes forward.  With luck I’ll have something definite by the end of the year.  Keep watching this space for an announcement of when Joy will appear in a novel!  (Joy also won a signed copy of Saintly Remains.)

Congratulations again to Joy and to her library, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library!
